Enum rustc_const_eval::interpret::GlobalAlloc [−][src]
pub enum GlobalAlloc<'tcx> {
Function(Instance),
Static(DefId),
Memory(&Allocation<AllocId, ()>),
}Expand description
An allocation in the global (tcx-managed) memory can be either a function pointer, a static, or a “real” allocation with some data in it.
Variants
Function(Instance)
Tuple Fields
0: InstanceThe alloc ID is used as a function pointer.
Static(DefId)
Tuple Fields
0: DefIdThe alloc ID points to a “lazy” static variable that did not get computed (yet). This is also used to break the cycle in recursive statics.
Memory(&Allocation<AllocId, ()>)
Tuple Fields
0: &Allocation<AllocId, ()>The alloc ID points to memory.

Layout
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference’s “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
