Error information for when the program we executed turned out not to actually be a valid program. This cannot happen in stand-alone Miri, but it can happen during CTFE/ConstProp where we work on generic code or execution does not have all information available.
Variants
Resolution can fail if we are in a too generic context.
Cannot compute this constant because it depends on another one which already produced an error.
AlreadyReported(ErrorReported)Abort in case errors are already reported.
Layout(LayoutError<'tcx>)An error occurred during layout computation.
An invalid transmute happened.
SizeOfUnsizedType(&'tcx TyS<'tcx>)SizeOf of unsized type was requested.

Layout
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may be different between compiler versions and platforms. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference’s “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
