Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.4 metres(5') 10 knots SE. The S protected stretches and E facing points early on the dropping tide before the ESE winds get up. Fun ones in the outer bays at Noosa also on the dropping tide.’

Bali Surf Camp:
‘Padang-Padang surf report: Today our beginners went to Blackstone to make their first steps in surfing after which their lives won’t be the same anymore. With surfing it is always like that so don’t be surprised when you tried it once upon a time. Conditions at Blackstone are excellent for beginner’s surf lessons today. Bright sunny day with light offshore wind. Really fun waves are knee high to waist high or chest high on sets.’

Tamarindo surf break:
“Please, don't cross the rivermouth in the estuary to go Playa Grande. There are crocodiles in the rivermouth. You have to use the boat to go to Casitas.”

Sixtynine surf break:
“Reef is insanely shallow, on low tide your feet will touch it while sitting on your board. On big days it produces a very powerful barrel.”

Tamarindo surf break:
“Great beginner surf spot. I live down here and have been practicing on a fun board. There are many breaks to try from down at Suizo to right out front for beginners. Over the last few months I have been able to go across the river mouth and surf at Casitas. Super fun and less crowded. I use the surf cam at Iguana Surf to check out the swell each day cause my board is rather large to walk down with. Great spot for beginners to intermediates.”
